LADIES CIVIC IMPROVMENT ASSOCIATION
The Ladies' Civic Improvement Association (LCIA) was formed in 1910. Money raised by the LCIA is used for youth activities, beautification and reforestation of the grounds, and other projects. The LCIA sponsors the Indian Giver, Pink Geranium Cafe, Library, The Club children ages 7-11, Play School ages 3-6, Tuesday Night Card Parties, Girls Club, and Children's Day Weekend.
The LCIA also presents other social events through- out the season. If families are interested in memorials they may choose plants, trees, or a special project. Memorial money may be sent to Frances Young. Although largely composed of women, all people interested in the welfare of New Piasa Chautauqua are invited to become members. The dues are $5.00 a year.
